By The Pool Music has recently licensed part of its back catalogue to long-established UK- based  Cherry Red Records.  The catalogue includes the Italo-disco hit ‘Por Favor’ by Boogaloo2, ‘Tokyo Nights’ by Bandzai, and albums and singles by The Pool Sharks and The Tigers, as well as tracks by Bo Jolly featuring Malcolm "Molly" Duncan (Average White Band - Pick Up The Pieces).

SARAH BUDDY

"Better Things To Come", an anthem for the future, is being released by Sarah on all streaming platforms.  Listen also to Sarah's single "Blinding Lights", a guitar-driven fem-rock version of the hit song by fellow Canadian The Weeknd.  Now available on all streaming platforms.

Sarah's debut album “Sparks Fly“ is out now on vinyl,  with Record Store Day Canada's support.

You can listen to four tracks from the album on streaming platforms:    "Dark Shadows", "Head to Head",  "Enough is Enough", featuring Malcolm Molly Duncan, and the title track "Sparks Fly".

Sarah is from Waterloo, Ontario, and her vocals were recorded in Studio A in Kitchener, Ontario.

 

Sarah comes from a very musical family, her mother being a singer/songwriter and her father being a singer and a percussionist. Her brother John C. Malcolm is a performer in the Toronto Ontario film and theatre scene.

Sarah's musical influences are Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac), James Taylor, Jann Arden, John Gorka and Jean McNeill, Sarah's mother.

Sarah is also an artist, painting custom acrylic paintings.

 

The album is being released by UK-based record label and music publishing company By The Pool Music.

 

Tracks are co-produced by Nick Coler, who has previously worked with Alice Cooper and Kylie Minogue, and several tracks feature Molly Duncan on sax (Average White Band – "Pick Up The Pieces").

Sarah previously featured on tracks released in 2018 by UK production group Bo Jolly.
